Overview of Rattray’s on Mala Mala
Rattray’s on Mala Mala is located on the banks of the Sand River in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private and exclusive conservation area which shares an open border with the Kruger National Park. A refined and elegant safari lodge with authentic quality furnishings and original works of art, Rattray’s on Mala Mala captures the spirit of a classic African Safari.
The emphasis is however firmly on excellent game viewing: with no children under 16 allowed in camp and only four guests per game viewing vehicle, guests can concentrate on the main attraction – the extraordinary wildlife of the reserve. Sightings of the Big 5 are common and there are plenty of opportunities to view animal interactions during your morning and afternoon/evening game drives and nature walks, led by superb and passionate guides.

A stylish and intimate lodge with probably the best game viewing of any reserve. Attention to detail is evident throughout the lodge.
